Green and I, along with my girlfriend Tiasa, set off from Melbourne on a great mission filled with laughs, jokes, and a bit of ‘accident.  It was supposed to leave at 8 am.
Tiasa said, “Green, the alarm is sounding, get up.”
I said, “Hey, how come it’s morning so early? I just slept!”
Look at the clock — 10:30!
Before heading towards the Great Ocean Road, I couldn’t find myself.
I rolled my eyes. “Come on, the adventure starts late, doesn’t it?”

Car Rental:

• Rented a shiny white Toyota Corolla.
• Cost: $72/day, for 4 days. Total: 288 dollars
• Plus, Insurance: 40 dollars
• Plus, a packet of chips eaten to Tiasa’s heart’s content (sitting in the car seat): 4.5 dollars

Depart from Melbourne:

As soon as I got into the car, Tiasa said, “Green, I want music!”
I played music — 2000 Hindi songs!
Tiasa shouted:
“It’s Great Ocean Road, or Tera Great Pappu’s wedding song playlist?”

Keeping the mood right, I turned on Google Maps.
The map said: “Take a U-Turn.”
Tiasa said, “Dude, Google is turning us around at the beginning of the journey!”

First Destination: Torquay

• Beautiful beaches, surfing kingdom!
• We went to learn surfing.
• Surfboard rental for two: 50 dollars/person = 100 dollars

Tiasa fell in the first wave.
I played this slide while showing off some style — the Australian kids next door filmed it, laughing! (If it doesn’t go viral!)

After surfing we said, “Let’s eat!”

“Here come the big surfers!” — shouted Tiasa.
I said, “Let’s do a photo session.”
An old Australian gentleman took our picture.

When I went under the fountain, I slipped and fell — my whole body was wet.
