Introduction:
When we think of Australia’s Sunshine Coast, visions of golden beaches, calm blue waters, and relaxed coastal life immediately come to mind. But the real beauty of this region lies not just in its nature, but in its deep history, friendly people, and vibrant culture. In this blog, (Tiyasha and) share our journey to the Sunshine Coast Australia from Melbourne. Unlike typical travel guides, this one is built on lived experiences. From how we planned the trip, where we stayed, what we saw, how much we spent, to the interactions we had with locals—everything is real and complete. Whether you’re planning your first trip to Queensland or just curious about what makes the Sunshine Coast Australia so special, this guide will walk you through everything, step by step.
The history of the Sunshine Coast Australia, and how it developed

Sun, sea and dreams on the Sunshine Coast Australia —our 5-day love trip
Tiasa said,
– “This time I’ll go somewhere and soak up some sun, listen to the sound of the waves, and spend some time with you by turning off my mobile phone.”
I smiled and said,
– “Come on, Sunshine Coast Australia —let’s spend some love time in the hot sun.”
Thus began our dream trip of 5 days.
Day 1: Step into the Sun City from Melbourne
The morning was full of excitement. Getting the ticket to the Sunshine Coast Australia from Melbourne is like a glimpse of sunshine in our minds. In just two hours on a Qantas flight, we arrived at the place that was calling our name—the Sunshine Coast.
As soon as I left the airport, the warm air blew my mind. Green trees are all around, the sky is painted blue, and the sound of waves can be heard in the distance.
We checked into a small but tidy Airbnb in Maroochydore. Sea view from the balcony, coffee shop next door, just like a dream.
That day, I just walked on the beach, sat quietly holding Tiasa’s hand, and took hundreds of pictures before sunset.
Day 2: Nousa – Love and nature collide

In the morning, I went out to Noosa National Park with the car. The road was so beautiful that I wanted to stop and take pictures. Bird calls, sunlight between the trees, and the blue sea in the distance flowed like a poem.
While walking the Hell’s Gate trail, Tiasa said,
– “This place is like you, it pulls even if it’s far away, it gives peace when you come close.”
Then sit quietly by the sea, just count the waves and keep your eyes on the moonlight.
Day 3: Marine mystery and scuba diving
This day was very special for us. Went to SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Australia Aquarium in the morning. The wonder in the eyes of the little children and the memories of both of us going back to childhood.
Tiasa suddenly said,
– “Let’s go scuba diving. See the world below.”
Although I was a little scared at first, when I went under the water, I was completely lost in another world. The colours of the fish, the beauty of the coral rocks, the calm waters—everything seemed to make waves in our hearts.
Day 4: Hills, markets and an evening of love
Today we went to Eumundi Market and then Montville. The market is alive with handmade items, someone is playing guitar and singing, and someone is offering handmade soap or chocolate.
We stood on the hill of Montville drinking tea and looking down at the ocean—”If only this life could last!”
Tiasa took my hand and said,
– “Every place becomes home when you’re around.”
Day 5: Knitting Sriti before departure
On the last morning, Tiasa and I walked to the beach. Sand under the feet, memories behind, love in front. The host bid us farewell with a small flower from the garden. We returned to the airport in silence, but a bright light remained within us—the light of the Sunshine Coast.
A few cost calculations (besides the love story and the practical side):
Flight: Around AUD 400 for 2 people
Hotel: 750 AUD for 5 nights
Car rental: 60 AUD per day for a total of 300 AUD
Food and coffee: 250 AUD
SEA LIFE & SCUBA: 200 AUD
Total: 1900 AUD (Priceless at the Price of Love)
The Sunshine Coast is not just a travel destination, it is a feeling, a frame of love in which we have rediscovered ourselves.
If you love travel, want sun-sea-mountains together, then you can close your eyes and go to the Sunshine Coast. And if the companion is your beloved person, then every morning will be filled with a new story.
