The role
Tasmania is a dreamy island in Australia, where nature captivates you at every turn. This article contains the real experiences of my thrilling travels, where I have travelled through unknown mountain passes, misty forests, secluded beaches, quiet towns and lively villages. Also featuring the A to Z of Tasmania, everything travelers need to know about attractions, food, culture, weather, transport, and more. A piece of heaven is caught in my journey.
Tasmania is a 30-day whimsical tour with Tiasa.
Our trip started from Melbourne, because we are natives of Melbourne. My girlfriend Tiasa’s house and my society. We, Tiasa and I, were ready for a new journey. We decided to travel to Tasmania, explore this charming Australian island, but keep the budget low. This 30-day trip was very low budget, but our experience was unforgettable.
travel route
We first alighted at the ferry terminal from Melbourne. Route: From Melbourne (Geelong Ferry Terminal) → Devonport (Tasmania), I boarded the ferry Spirit of Green Island. The rent was 369 AUD, including cabs. Our journey starts around 9:00 PM. I reached the next morning. Reached Tasmania after 8/9 hours. After that, I went to the hotel. In a low-budget hotel. Talked to Hobart. Already, we have reached Tasmania. After reaching there, the first thing I felt was the beauty and peaceful atmosphere of this island. Both of us went out after resting at the hotel, and Hobart was waiting on the road. He will also accompany us as a guide. We travelled a lot, sometimes on foot, sometimes by bicycle. Being on a limited budget, we made our way to eat at hostels and cheap eateries.
Cost and on-the-go experience
Our first month’s expenses were roughly $2000, which was for our lodging, food, and transportation. The popular places in Tasmania that we visited, like White Moon Bay, Cradle Mountain, Earth’s Peak etc. had different costs for each one. Cheap transport and hostel accommodation kept us within our budget.
Food was eaten
As for food, we mainly bought cheap food from the local market. Instead of going to a hotel or restaurant, I loved to have a picnic, where I could enjoy the scenery and eat cheap and easy food. Eating seafood on the beaches of Tasmania was one of the highlights of our trip.
Acquaintance and endangerment
A fun experience from Tasmania was our local guide friend “Hobart”, who we were intrawound to. He took it upon himself to show us all over Green Island and explained the various places in detail. But one day we mistakenly took, a trail, which turned out to be a bit dangerous. We got a little scared when we lost our way, but the “Hobart” rescued us and showed us the whole area, bringing us back to safety. I will never forget his kindness.
Another place and a fun experience
The beautiful scenery of Tasmania, mountains, waterfalls and the sea borders made our trip a wonderful experience. One day we went to the “Cradle Mountain” trail, where we enjoyed the whole environment with wonderful hiking. Another day, we had a picnic at “Lake St. Clair”, where we relaxed with some snacks and local food.
Experiencing the silence and peace of the beach while walking on the beach in Tasmania, was one of the highlights of our trip. Now let’s know more important information.
